Our BBQ is traditional Kansas City style, but with just enough flavorful differences to set us apart. We specialize in the standard competition meats - pork ribs, brisket, pulled pork and chicken - but we've also been known to apply our BBQ techniques to dishes not traditionally thought of as prepared in a smoker or grill.

Okay -
so it was really cold Friday night through the wee hours of Saturday
morning. And the wind on Friday was brutal! But the things
that can be controlled - like plenty of room for the competitors,
personal water and electric hookups, awesome cooks meeting dinner and a
friendly, helpful event staff added up to a great start to what will
surely be a Delaware tradition.
Sixty-two more than tough teams headed to the inaugural Diamond State BBQ Championship. As always, it was great to catch up with friends such as the Cookin'Commandos, 3Eyz BBQ, and The BBQ Guru, just to name a few.
What a place to have a competition - the infield of a major US raceway. Each competitor was allotted the same spaces used by the NASCAR fans that pull their mobile homes in for a week of racing.
We also took a few minutes off and checked out the classic car show that was held in conjunction with the event. The weekend was capped off by visits from family and friends.
